Friday again and the word blogging springs to mind.Or it could it be that the word spring springs to mind.It is a mild day here in Scotland’s capital and I am told that it was warm in Aberdeen yesterday and it was sunny.
Oh well that will be summer over for the good people of that part of Scotland for another year.
What an exciting week it has been here at CIOBS.Revision courses for Chartered Banker have continued throughout the week and we had a bit of excitement on Wednesday morning when there was no power in the building.
This led to the Business Law revision session having to relocate at very short notice to a neighbouring hotel!
A big thank you to the Melvin House Hotel for accommodating Mr Angus Mair and his delegates.
Next week brings yet another batch of Revision Sessions. Let’s hope they are powerful.
I forgot to mention in last week’s blog that we had a photographer visit us here at Drumsheugh last week. The purpose of this visit was to take some photographs – strangely enough.
A few group shots were taken and even some individual ones.So keep an eye on the web page for some up to date snaps of CIOBS personnel.
I am sure that the professional photographer will be delighted that I refer to her compositions as shots and snaps!!
Warning Warning Warning Warning Warning

The town of Rotherham in South Yorkshire will be putting out the flags and bunting this weekend as the news spreads of the impending visit by Raymond Brown.
Yes, folks the great man will be down your way on Tuesday. Please make him feel welcome.
I must mention that Rotherham is the hometown of the Chuckle Brothers who are famous for the children’s comedy programme 'Chuckle Vision' which has aired for over 20 years on the BBC.
I am sure that Raymond will keep the good folks of Rotherham entertained.Let's hope that his Sat Nav is working properly and he doesn't end up in Rotterdam.
Happy Birthday to Robert Downey Jr, the famous actor who is 43 today. He only get’s a mention because he shares my surname.

Michael (an infamous Downey who has never met the Chuckle Brothers )
