Good afternoon all,
And welcome to another little update. There are some days, little things happen which make you feel like you wish you had stayed in bed. (no, not every day!)
Today was one!
Firstly, every one of the 354 sets of traffic lights I need to go through were at red. Then to make matters worse, when I parked the car for the 17 mile walk to the office, it was absolutely pouring down. Could things get any worse? YES!
I had my regular performance appraisal with the Director of Education and Deputy Chief Executive, Mr Colin Morrison. I suggested that my current performance when measured against my Key Objectives should result in a salary increase of c. £10,000. He suggested that I should immediately start looking at Situations Vacant!!
However things did slowly improve. I finished my Scottish Banker article and sent it off to the editors - they sent it back stating that 23 words didn't count as an article. Whatever!
The Revision Course programme for the Autumn diet is however now complete and this will be put on to the website on Monday or Tuesday, so at least something went right!! So for any students out there who are planning their studies, you can find out when all the courses are scheduled to run and get organised.
That's it, I've had enough for one week - I bet you have too!
Have a good one!
Raymond
